Cardiometabolic Medicine

Dr. Hessa Al-Rashid

Precision cardiometabolic physician with 18 years in preventive medicine, trained at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Hessa Al-Rashid

Dr. Al-Rashid trained in internal medicine at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh before completing a fellowship in preventive cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic. Her work over the following decade focused on identifying cardiometabolic risk at the molecular level — long before symptoms appear.

At Smart Santé she leads the cardiometabolic panel design — ApoB, Lp(a), continuous glucose monitoring, and arterial stiffness — and personally reviews every patient's baseline report before the physician debrief. Her philosophy: the data only matters if it translates into a protocol the patient can sustain.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Al-Rashid lectures on risk stratification in metabolic disease at the Saudi Heart Association and contributes to clinical audit panels for the Ministry of Health. She reads English and Arabic medical literature with equal fluency, and insists that every Smart Santé report is written for the patient, not the chart.
